This 6KW Hybrid DIY Solar Kit is the perfect all rounder, and one of the most popular systems we have on offer. You can store any excess solar power generated in batteries rather than sending it back down the grid (which you no longer can receive payment for). So when the sun goes down you can use the excess electricity you have generated rather than paying your electricity provider.

The great advantage of Hybrid systems to Off-Grid systems however, is that you’re still connected to the grid for those days when you’re not generating any power (which sadly, in Britain this happens quite a bit during the winter months). Roof mounting kit is not included (please contact me for a quote, most mounts in stock)

 

This kit contains everything you need to fit this system to the existing fuse board to your house. All you need is a spare fuse on your fuse board and AC wire.

This is a battery storage system, the inverter can be programmed to automatically send unused power to be stored in batteries.  However, unlike Off-Grid kits, you still have grid capabilities when the solar panels are not generating or the batteries have insufficient energy.
